FTA POLICIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Undergraduate:

Foreign Trade Academy (FTA) helps organization and individuals both in the public and private sectors to meet specific employee development needs through specialized training, hand-holding and experience sharing programs and exchanges.

Student Admission:

Student undergraduate enrollment is open throughout the year and admission into classes and courses made on quarterly basis.

 

Admission requirements:

Minimum of Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) with credit in 5 subjects including Mathematics and English Language taken at not more than two (2) sittings.

 

On-campus and Off-campus students:

Admission is either for Campus learning at the main campus of Dai Nam University based in Vietnam or online, off-campus through Foreign Trade Academy (FTA) platforms.

 

Student’s Accommodation Policy:

Students who are admitted into on-campus programs would be provided with Halls of Residence lodging on campus or at other Dai Nam University approved locations; arrangements for feeding and meals are optional, this applies to both freshers and returning undergraduates. Accommodation, and meals are subject to and in accordance with Dai Nam University Accommodation Policy which may change without notice from time to time, tailored in line with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

 

Fees:

Tuition and Accommodation Fees are advised regularly by Dai Nam University in accordance with International Student’s standards, obtainable universally for tertiary level Education. The fees are made available to Nigeria and the general public through the Information services of Foreign Trade Academy (FTA) in Nigeria.

 

Classes and Instructions Language:

Classes are conducted in English Language and course outlines for the entire degree programs are made available online. Interested candidates are invited to apply now

 

Health:

Candidates are expected to take up a health insurance scheme as required by Dai Nam University in precaution against health issues or challenges. Candidates also are to follow other health provision made by the University and needed by the student at a fee in order to cover the candidate’s health. Candidates with specific or special health need especially physically challenged or other similar health conditions would be advised on health arrangements by the relevant Dai Nam University health authorities accordingly. Candidates are advised to indicate special health conditions on application form for admission and report their specific needs before and immediately after arrival for registration at the Dai Nam University.

 

Postgraduate:

Registration into the school of postgraduate studies is open to students who have been adjudged as having successfully completed undergraduate studies and have been screened by the postgraduate admission team. Candidates can pursue chosen academic program of studies at Dai Nam University by applying for admission consideration into the school of postgraduate studies for postgraduate studies. Postgraduate programs can either be full-time or part-time. The full-time or part-time courses are conducted in Foreign Trade, as well as Foreign Investment Promotion and Facilitation or in other related courses conducted as collaboration between the Foreign Trade Academy (FTA) of Nigeria and Dai Nam University, Vietnam, through either online teaching platforms or onsite in Vietnam.

 

Professional Programs:

Registration into professional programs could be at Basic, Intermediate or Advanced levels. The courses are conducted by Dai Nam University and Foreign Trade Academy (FTA) and can be online or onsite.

 

Executive program:

Executive styled programs are retreats and excursion programs which have been structured for Executive class learning designed for Policy-makers or Decision-makers, and top management echelons in the private and public sector,

Special Programs

The Special Programs are for retirees, leisure-time learners or candidates pursuing learning just for the sake of learning. Programs are tailor-made to meet specific requirements and conducted by Dai Nam University and Foreign Trade Academy (FTA).

 

Diploma Program:

Registration into Diploma programs are conducted for candidates who will desire to pursue professional affiliation or exemptions with different professional bodies in management using the Diploma certificates. In accordance with requirements of many professional management examining bodies the Dai Nam University Diploma certificates are classified at Basic, Intermediate and Advanced levels.
